Application Exclusion? 1 Year, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,

Can you add a running application autolock "exception" for your application?

For example, if I'm using navigation software, I would like to prevent the autolock feature from activating while the navigation software is running.

Thanks.

Yes, there is an exclusion input field on page 1. Just enter the name of the executable of your navigation software there.

Hello, I tried the exception option, but it doesn't work well on my HTC TouchPro (Fuze). I tried setting up "Additional excludes:" which wouldn't work if the application didn't go full-screen. I could only get to the Camera app (tested with an "Additional excludes:" which worked) and Tom Tom Mobile (from the default "Excludes:" menu) to work, which tells me only apps that go full-screen will be excluded (all other apps tested still show the Windows Start Menu symbol at the top when running). I even tried Internet Explorer from the default "Excludes:" menu and it didn't work. For "Additional excludes:" I also tried Google Maps (GoogleMaps.exe) and I could not get the exclusion to work, regardless if I used some upper case characters or all lower case characters.

BTW, shouldn't "Tom Tom Mobile" be called "Tom Tom Navigator" or just "Tom Tom" or is the name differnet in Germany?

Also, I'm traveling to Germany during the 1st week of November if you live in the southwest and would like to meet.

Thanks

BTW, I am running the "stable" 4.03 version that I just downloaded yesterday.

I also just verified that Internet Explorer is NOT excluded (when selected in the default "Excludes:" menu), even when it runs in full-screen mode.

Hello, I just tried Automatic Keylock v4.1 Beta 3. I'm still not able to get "Additional excludes" to work on my WinMobile 6.1 HTC TouchPro (Fuze) properly (GoogleMaps.exe does not work). Tom Tom Mobile works (in the "Excludes:" menu), but Internet Explorer does NOT work in full-screen or regular mode (in the "Excludes:" menu.)
